What is “Adult Day Health Care”? Adult day health care (ADHC)  is a community-based program designed to meet the needs of functionally and/or cognitively impaired adults through a structured comprehensive program that offers social and support services in a supervised congregate setting during the day.  More and more of today's families are providing care for a medically fragile loved one and are faced with many  hard choices including long-term placement.   Adult Day Health Care is a viable option that provides supervision, social interaction and medical monitoring during the day.
